Just had a very exciting morning here at an tSean Bheairíc, the base for Solas's adventures & today for an OB of Ryan Tubridy's RTÉ Radio One show. Guests included Comedian slash new Gaeilgeoir Des Bishop, pictured here with our own Brian Smeaton. Brian was busy news gathering for his column in the Thir Chonaill tribune. Dana Rosemary Scallon was here too and local councillor Joe Kelly took great pleasure in getting his "All Kinds of everything" EP signed. Eurovision otherwise was not mentioned, bhí scóth na gceol ann ó Altan agus Cór taobh a leitheid. An tSean Bheairic's committee's Josie Doohan got on air and was wittily interrupted for mentioning too many people by Ryan, although John O'Brien got an Errigal new homes plug in! The greata and the good of Falcarragh society made an appearence and just to mention my commendations to Rosaline, Bríd, Eileen and staff as well as Cathal O'Gallachoir who kept the throng fed and wathered with coffee all morning. AS expected Ryan Tubridy had a Cappucino. Unfortunately No slot for the Solas Programme on the show despite our best efforts but we are still getting well publicised elsewhere. Now im off to nab Ryan Tubridy's half-drunk water bottle and sell it on ebay.... Slán go fhoill
