Failte arís tá brón orm go bhfuil sé chomh fhada sín ó blogáíl me go deireanach. Sorry about the delay in blog updates! But we are back in full swing the Boxing day walk/run made a significant contribution to the Solas Social Fund so thank you to all who participated. It went fantastic and thank you to all who participated! We were in Lunniagh today which is kind of like an obstacle course, with mud rivers and rock and some soft sand on the beach! We would be well prepared for Takeshi's castle. Big news we are having another Fundraiser Thanks to Anne Kelly of the Lifford players who are donating some of the proceeds from their Festival Play " The Black stranger" to the Social fund. The play takes places at 20.30 on Sat 21st February in Aras Begley, beside the Church in Falcarragh. This play is very sad since it is set during Irish Famine times. The Lifford players are an award winning theatre group. This is not to be missed. Tickets are ten euro. I am on RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta's Barrscealta on Friday morning to publicise this event and talk about the course. Eíst leis mo dthig leat! Also we are in the process of being filmed by Seanchas Productions for a new TG4 documentary to be broadcast later in the Year as part of the Cogar strain of documentaries. Exciting times! Will give you more info soon!!! Go n-eiríodh go gheall leat agus slan go fhoill!!!!!

Thanks for the update - it's been quite some time! What an exciting time it is for Solas - fundraisers, performances, and documentaries. The pictures look great - the top one at Glenveagh is the same view that I have as the background for my computer. Miss you all and hope to see you soon!
