Bhuel cen chraic?
This writer only really goes on the Solas course on Wednesdays now and I really miss it. The excercise, the support, the chance to meet old and new friends and the fact it makes me go out walking in all weathers. The change in me since i joined the course over three years ago has been incredible. I feel like the person I was before my lowered feelings or depression set-in. Not totally but nearly, but sure people are never satisfied with what they are, are they? Well i got a lot of good feedback from our latest publicity drive with a great interview with Aíne Ní Churrain on RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta recently. Thats Ireland National Irish Language Radio station run by the public broadcaster, so it was to all effects nationwide coverage, in theory albeit as gaeilge.
We had an excellent day wednesday. there were 24 people and we went to Ards Forest park. Just forgot to mention Liam Murray who snaps all the great photos on our blog. He has quite an eye for it as can be seen on some of the selection on this page. Martin Collins or Murt is our new co-ordinator officially now and I couldn't think of a better person to lead the course on a daily basis. He's a great guy all round. Any ways will update soon let you know all the craic!
Ghlac go suaimhneach é!!
